A new Gestalt Practitioner Diploma course begins!

After a few difficult years, we at the Gestalt Centre Belfast are delighted to announce that our two-year programme is about to start again.  As well as Covid we were also rocked by the death of our Senior trainer, colleague and friend Dr Seán Gaffney.  In 2016-2018 he had been the main trainer on the Diploma course, and the programme's theoretical and methodological orientation owes much to him. But these experiences, and the current social and political context in which therapy is offered, have convinced us of the importance to offer trainings in this approach, and in person.

Through this two-year course, we hope to introduce the participants to a solid foundation in Gestalt therapy, its theory, methodology and practice. The first year will focus on working with individuals, and the second year on working with groups.  The learning is of course group-based and experiential, and joining, being in and belonging to a group will form the basis of the learning.  As for the faculty team, it is also the beginning of an exciting new adventure!
